Integrated Bodywork Seminar

Fri. Sept. 12 - Sun. Sept. 14 , 2008Integrated Bodywork is a 3 day / 24 hour intensive course designed to assist lay people, as well as the health care provider, in the accurate assessment of a person from a TRUE holistic perspective. It provides a working knowledge of the philosophy and various techniques utilized by holistic healing systems including meridian and zone work, energy channel and field work, the Meric approach and an array of massage modalities. In the first section, we explore the philosophical foundation of the healing consciousness and the difference between therapy and facilitation. The second section involves examination and comparison of charts from various sources to establish the common ground on which they may be integrated. The third section of the course is a hands-on workshop. Attendees will learn how to use parameters such as Derefield leg checks (a vital tool for assessment utilized by chiropractors), electromagnetic field resonance, posture, and more to evaluate a person and identify the dominant stress pattern that needs to be addressed at that moment in order to effectively determine which areas require attention, and which areas need to be avoided. By the end of the seminar, participants will have a new or revitalized holistic understanding of facilitation and the healing process, and tools for patient assessment which will substantially increase their confidence and the effectiveness of their work.
